Collaborating with Clinicians

PANS Coach provides non-medical coaching, education, and patient advocacy services to support families navigating PANS/PANDAS associated with tick-borne illness, including Lyme disease, Bartonella, and Babesia.

Founded by Lori Maramante, EdD, PANS Coach helps families better understand symptoms, organize medical history, interpret research, and prepare for clinical encounters. Services are designed to complement — not replace — medical care by supporting informed decision-making and effective communication between families and healthcare providers.

Dr. Maramante brings advanced training in biological sciences and science education, formal training in Lifestyle and Wellness Coaching through Harvard Medical School Extension Education, and extensive experience in infectious disease education. Her work is further informed by lived experience as both a caregiver and patient, supporting a grounded, ethical, and non-clinical coaching approach.

PANS Coach helps reduce parent overwhelm, improve care coordination, and support adherence to clinical guidance by ensuring families understand the rationale behind recommendations. Collaboration with clinicians is welcomed and respected.
